Np, it's been a little crazy. Right now I work a regular 9-5, then I rush home to work on illustration stuff. I feel like the contest has help me to kick my butt into gear. I feel a lot more dedication and a greater sense of direction. Is for illustration jobs, I was hoping they would just fall into my lap, but it's been more small stuff so far. It's just plug and play for me, trying to get things together as fast as I can. How about you? How's sunny California?

I totally understand the crazy schedule.

That's great! That's how I used it, too.

Yeah, really gotta work and network, getting jobs can be tough to start with, but the more you do, the more people learn about you, so it gets easier.

Doing great, coming close to wrapping a 6 month long project, have some irons in the fire to move onto next, but nothing super concrete. I'm starting to teach art as well, finding I have a passion for it. Also pushing the fine art/original work sales, so that's fun to have going. All in all things are going good. :) Thanks!

If you need advice on where to take your work, who to show it to, etc. please feel free to ask.

Thanks exciting! It must be a relief to complete such a long project.

Teaching huh? That really good, I bet you learn just as much from your students as they learn from you, if not more. I can think of nothing better!
